Generational biases and preferences can unwittingly separate financial services professionals from their clients. Financial professionals must learn to adjust their language, preferred communication channels, and preferred meeting habits and frequency to their client’s generation to best communicate their value and maintain relationships.  The Covid economy has had an impact on generational attitudes towards financial services as well as how each generation is reacting from the stresses presented by today’s uncertainties. The special relationships earned by financial professionals with their clients serves as an opportunity to serve clients in new ways that will build new levels of trust, loyalty, and referrals.

Cam Marston is the leading expert on the impact of generational change and its impact on the workplace and marketplace. As an author, columnist, blogger, and lecturer, he imparts a clear understanding of how generational demographics are changing the landscape of business.
